Haiti was jolted by a 7.2 earthquake earlier today with several buildings crumbling and a possible high death toll. There is no confirmation of the death toll as prayers are needed for the nation as it assesses the damage, and rescue survivors. The epicenter of the earthquake was 78 miles (125 km) west of the capital city of Port-au-Prince at a depth of 62 miles (10 kilometers). According to one Forbes report the death toll could be less as the epicenter of the earthquake struck farther from the densely populated capital, Port-au-Prince.
