Jamaica’s General Election 2020

September 3, 2020

Voters are inking their voices all across the island today as the two major political parties (Jamaica Labour Party and Peoples National Party) along with independent candidates seek election to form the next government.

COVID19 cases are increasing and this is expected to lead to a low voter turnout. However, the real stats will show later this evening when the good votes are counted. Could there be a surprise? Is the focus beyond just today?

Jamaicans are ready to move forward, and this election will be forgotten soon. The decision today is to move forward together. Let’s go.
