The official day for the US elections is November 3; however, Americans have been submitting votes by mail and in person (absentee voting) since September. In fact, a larger percentage of Americans have been voting by mail this year when compared to the last elections in 2016.
This phased reopening of some schools will run from November 9 to 20.
There was an overall lowering of the SBA grades as the CXC moderators’ marks were different from the teacher awarded grades. Therefore, final grades were severely affected.
The reaction to the results has escalated to several online petitions where thousands have signed in their push to prompt the regional institution to address their concerns.
Today, President Donald Trump signed a peace deal with Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain at the White House. This is one to watch as Israel continues to steady relations in the Middle East despite Palestinian and internal opposition.
Comprehensive research has been done on the need for Information and Communications and Technology (ICT) in educational development across the Caribbean region, and although progress has been made, the margins of success are thin as the onset of the pandemic has highlighted.
The government will need to provide an update on the future of the education sector in coming days as they monitor the spread of the virus across the island.
The list of add-ons to the normal costly process of supporting the education of children compounded by increasing inflation and the depreciating dollar value of incomes (if any) will become a stretch for some parents. However, parents have to adjust their mindset to the change approach as they overcome challenges rather than acceding to despondency.
It’s the heavy responsibility of being the vision holder until your child is able to understand the purpose they carry.
